Sometimes you might find yourself with a duplicate book on your 'read' list.

In this instance, do not click 'Remove book'.  Clicking 'Remove Book' on one of these records will delete both of them, including any journal entries you may have added.

Instead, to remove the duplicate, click into the book page and click 'View/Edit Read History':

If you are using the app, this button can be found behind the three-dot menu.

You will then see your two (or more) read instances listed like this:

Click the little 'x' next to one of the read instances to delete the duplicate. In this case, you'd want to delete the 'No date' read instance. However, if you have two read instances that have exactly the same start and finish dates, it doesn't matter which one you delete. It will only remove the duplicate 'read' book, it will not affect your journal entries.

Please note that this is only applicable when the duplicates in your list are exactly the same edition. If you have a print and a digital edition both marked as 'read' and you only want the digital edition, you can just click 'Remove book' on the print edition using the dropdown menu.
